Dear Coulwood Community,
We want to first thank the entire community for your patience and understanding this year as we work through the challenges at the pool. We are excited to provide you with this update.
As mentioned before, there were some safety upgrades that were required at the pool before we were able to open and all of that work has been completed and passed initial safety inspections. This Thursday we are scheduled to have our final inspection from the Health Department. We expect this to be the final step towards opening the pool and fully anticipate the pool opening for the season on Saturday, June 12, barring any unforeseen results of Thursday's inspection. We will send out an email on Friday with the results of the inspection and a confirmed opening date.
A few reminders:
Pool hours are 12 - 8 p.m. every day
Membership cards will be available for pick-up at the pool beginning Saturday 6/12. Please show your membership card to the lifeguard when entering the pool.
Guests will be allowed this year and the guest fee is $5 per day- to be paid to the lifeguard with cash or venmo.
All members and their guests must sign into the log book at the front desk.
Youth members under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
The concession stand will be open and will accept cash and venmo payments.

Dear Coulwood Community,
We hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable Memorial Day weekend! Here is an update on the work to get the pool opened:
We passed our initial electrical inspection Friday morning. The board, along with several volunteers, have completed a number of updates that have prepared us for our final inspections. Trident Pool Group, our pool management company, has been contacted to order our final city and health inspections. Once inspections have been finalized and approved we will be ready to open for business.
As soon as we have additional details and an opening date, we will be sure to inform the community as we're sure you're all as anxious as we are to take a swim.

5/26/2021:
Dear Coulwood Community,
We regret to inform you that the opening of the pool will be delayed this year.
The pool required some electrical safety renovations prior to the season opening and while those repairs have been completed, we are awaiting inspections from the City and the Health Department in order to open to the public. The board is working closely with Trident Pool management to ensure inspections and any additional repairs are completed in a timely manner.
As always, our priority is the safety of our community members and their families. We will communicate the new opening date via email, our website and social media as soon as we have it.
